Welcome from Ms Laura McGovern
School Principal
|
I'm delighted to extend the warmest of welcomes to all of you. In my role as Principal, I feel truly honoured to be a part of this close-knit school community. I began in St. Peter's National School in 2016 as a mainstream class teacher. From the very outset, I was overwhelmed by the warmth and welcome I received from the entire school community. It became evident to me that St. Peter's National School is a remarkable place, where inclusivity and support are fundamental. I hope that this will also be your experience of our school!
St. Peter's National School is a very special place, where we are not only committed to providing a high-quality education but also to upholding our Church of Ireland ethos. Our goal is to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and supported. Our Board of Management and PTA go above and beyond in their commitment to our school's success. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff are here to nurture your children both academically and personally. We believe in offering a well-rounded education that encourages students to explore their unique talents and abilities. Parents and guardians, your involvement is absolutely vital to your child's success. We place immense value on open communication between home and school to ensure the best possible support for your child. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with our wonderful students, parents and the wider community. Together, we will create an inclusive, and respectful learning environment, setting our students on a path to becoming confident and responsible individuals, fully prepared for the future. Here's to a fantastic school year ahead! |
