Hi I'm Linda,  and I have the pleasure of being the school secretary in St. Peter's National School since 2004, just weeks after the school first opened its doors.

I thought my working days were over until I spotted an advertisement in a local shop looking for a part-time secretary.  I applied and was very lucky to get the job.  I feel proud to be able to say that I was a part of the very first all–new Church of Ireland National School to have been opened since the foundation of the state.

I have seen so many children go through the school, and what is lovely about it's community is the way many of the past pupils and parents along the way have kept in touch.  That's how much it meant to them being a part of this community, that's what makes it a great school.

Best of all is the staff past and present that I have met since I came to work here.  Friends forever!
