Wish us Bon Voyage!!!
Many thanks to John who installed our Active School Walkway. The signposts mark out our running/walking track and one full lap (no shortcuts!!) equals approximately 150 metres.
How many laps would it take to complete a 5k run?
The Active School Committee carried out a survey of St. Peter's NS to discover the sporting clubs which our pupils are a part of.
We were thrilled to see how many of us are members of local sports clubs.
Senior members of the ASC then compiled the data and represented it in a bar chart for our information.
If you are looking for a new club to join or interested in learning a new skill, our bar chart is a great place to start!
If you have any suggestions for our Active School Committee make sure to write it down and put it into our ASC Suggestion Box. We are always interested in your ideas :)
We are Climbing the Heights!! We count every skip as 1 metre then tick off all the mountains we have climbed, phew!
We are delighted to have new playground games for all the children to enjoy!

Climb the Heights Skipping Challenge. Let's see how many mountains we can climb together!!
60 minutes a day of physical activity helps us to stay healthy, improves our concentration and focus, and, of course, is FUN! Therefore we make sure our pupils enjoy an ACTIVE BREAK EVERY DAY!
We took advantage of the glorious weather and held a soccer blitz for the children in 3rd-6th Classes.
