The children in St. Peter's had a wonderful day on the 21st March, celebrating Down Syndrome Day by wearing a variety of different socks. We were so fortunate to receive goodies from a generous parent, Muriel Beirne, which were circulated around the classrooms, while discussing the meaning of Down Syndrome Day. The children marked the occasion by wearing multi-coloured, different socks! Check out the cool photos below! We also used the day as a little fundraiser for The Down Syndrome Centre North East and we raised a total of €140 so a huge thank you to all who donated on the day
