In April St Peter's celebrated Autism Awareness Month. The school took part in many activities throughout the month.
3rd-6th class took part in the As I Am dreamspace webinar. They also read from a book written by a former pupil of the school about their experiences with Autism.
We had our wonderful ANA Karen do a little workshop with each of the classes and gave an insight of her experiences in living with an autistic family member. She did a slideshow and talked about relationships with siblings and had the children engage in different forms of sensory play.
We also had a "blue" day where by everyone came into school dressed in the colour blue
