St. Peter's National School
Assembly Blog
Another week has flown by in St. Peter's National School and what a lovely sunny week it has been! Alison came to Assembly this week. We had a great chat about all of the wonderful Mums in our lives. Mothering Sunday is this Sunday and it is a fantastic time of the year to reflect and appreciate all of the brilliant things our Mothers do for us! We realised all of the wonderful things our Mums do for us! We talked about all the ways we could say thanks to our Mums and show them we are grateful. Sometimes, it is the small things that mean the most - giving a big hug, writing a homemade card, or even tidying our bedrooms! Thank you Mums!
The Active Schools Committee led our Assembly this week. They launched our Run around Europe challenge which is taking place over the month of April. The Infants will be running the equivalent distance to London, 1st & 2nd will be running the equivalent distance to Paris, 3rd & 4th will be running the equivalent distance to Brussels and 5th & 6th class will be running the equivalent distance to Monaco. This is a fantastic challenge for us all and we can't wait to get started. Keep an eye out on the Active Schools page on our website to see all the up to date pictures of our Active School events.
