Rev. Eugene treated us to a fascinating insight into the history of our church, St. Peters. Not only did we learn the full name of our church, St.Peter and Paul, we learned of the two previous churches on the site as well as the purpose of the tower that still stands on the church grounds. We marvelled at the design of the church, inside and out. Make sure to ask the children how many windows are in the church and who crafted the stone plaques inside.
Ms. Blennerhassett was so impressed, Rev. Eugene received a Homework Award!!! Head over to our Star of the Week page to see Rev. Eugene together with all the other children who received an award this week. 4th, 5th & 6th Class recited the poem 'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost which they had learned off by heart. They did a superb job and shared some of their beautiful artwork inspired by the poem.
