We had an excellent day at our second orienteering event in Corkagh Park. Our map reading skills are definitely improving. We can't wait for the next event!
5th & 6th Class were very lucky to receive an orienteering workshop from Mary of Leinster Schools Orienteering. Practicing our skills really helped us in the second orienteering event.
Santa Dash!
60 minutes a day of physical activity helps us to stay healthy, improves our concentration and focus, and, of course, is FUN! Therefore we make sure our pupils enjoy an ACTIVE BREAK EVERY DAY!
Wow! Our Active Flag Committee are doing a super job motivating the whole school to take part in Active Line-up every day.
We are delighted to have new playground games for all the children to enjoy!

Leinster Schools Orienteering
With a focus on the Physical Education strand unit Orienteering, 5th & 6th class signed up to take part in the Leinster Schools Orienteering League. Following initial training from organiser, Mary, the children decamped to Malahide Demesne on Wednesday the 10th of October. Body and mind were fully engaged for this epic adventure through the beautiful surrounds of Malahide Castle. Following a very successful day we are looking forward to the next event in the league.
We took advantage of the glorious weather and held a soccer blitz for the children in 3rd-6th Classes.
Active Week took place in St. Peter's last week. The pupils had a great time doing golf, tug of war and Frisbee.
On Monday all classes took part in Tug of War
On Thursday all classes took part in Golf
On Friday all classes took part in Frisbee
5th & 6th Class have been pedalling up a storm in their Cycling and Road Safety workshops
